VALLERIANI, Ivana (nee Minervini) July 11, 1929 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ivana on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 88th year. Reunited in heaven with her husband Peppino (Joe) of over 50 years. Dear mother and mother-in-law to Rita and Enrico (Paolone). Adored and proud Nonna to Richard, Jeffrey and Gregory. Survived by her sister Concetina and the late Paolo Dedominics, her sister-in-law Dina and the late Serafino Minervini, the late Dina and Ugo Minervini, the late Celeste and Pepe Persi, and survived by her sister-in-law Elvira and the late Vincenzo Triponi. Ivana will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Italy, Venezuela and Canada. Ivana worked as a seamstress for over 30 years, during this time she was employed at Arrow Shirts, Tiny Tots, and Beauty Industries. Ivana loved to travel and spend time with her three grandsons, who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., Hamilton (near James St. N.) on Thursday, April 20th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers Thursday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, 165 Prospect St. N., Hamilton, ON. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Plains Road in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
