MOURGELAS, Basile Surrounded by his loving family, Basile died peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 62. Basile was the loving husband of Eleni for over 36 years. Devoted father of Maria, John and George. Proud grandfather of Zoe and Lucas. And adored brother of Demetrios (James). Basile was the loving son of John and Maria (Papamanolopoulos) Mourgelas. Basile spent his career working in IT. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, great intentions, big heart and the gift of gab. We love you dad. Visitation will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, 50 Overlea Blvd., on Wednesday, October 4th from 5 – 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at ST. DEMETRIOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH on Thursday, October 5th at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
