MERCOURIS, Theodore Efthymios Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on October 7, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Maroussi, Athens, Greece, in 1930, the second of two sons of Symeon Mercouris and Antigoni Papadopoulos. Ted was predeceased by his father, mother, brother, sister and by his daughter Lisa Stobbart (nee Mercouris). He is survived by his daughter Kelly Wilbert (Dave), grandchildren Brittany Mercouris-Williams, Alexa and Daniel Wilbert; also by his son-in-law John Stobbart and grandchildren Anthony, Maria and Nikolas Stobbart. Visitation to be held at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Toronto, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 1785 Matheson Blvd., Mississauga on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10 a.m.
