Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the age of 66. Beloved wife for 39 years of Dr. David Loughran. Loved mother of Kimberlee, Scott (Carmen), and Pamela. Dear sister of Marla Hawley (Chris Worobets), Ross Hawley, and the late Wayne Hawley. Private cremation and interment will take place.
April loved music, having graduated from McMaster University majoring in music with a Masters in teaching. She passed on her love of music to her children, each learning to play two instruments. She worked at the Burlington Public Library and was known for her children’s story time.
She enjoyed travelling the world, watching plays and concerts, spending time with family and friends, and sharing her witty sense of humour.
She will be dearly missed but her spirit is with us always.
