GRAHAM NORMAN ONLOCK

GRAHAM NORMAN ONLOCK

ONLOCK, GRAHAM NORMAN March 30, 1932-November 7, 2018 Graham died peacefully at the Centenary Health Centre with wife Shirley at his side.

Graham is survived by Shirley, siblings Margaret and David, four kids and five grandkids. Graham and Shirley, married in 1953, raised their family in Highland Creek. Known to many as ‘Mr. Graham’, he ran five-and-dime stores before opening Graham’s Travel in 1977, a mainstay in Highland Creek Village for 30+ years.

One of Graham’s great gifts was his ability to connect with people. Whether sharing a story from his travels, politicizing with longtime friend Ed or talking sports, Graham found pleasure chatting with anyone and everyone. Cottage time and cooking were favourite pastimes. Armed with a glass of cooking wine, he barbequed feasts, carving off tasters to share. So long as he was with family, Graham had few complaints.

In lieu of flowers, donations can go to Rouge Valley Health System 4EMBW, whose staff showed such compassion while caring for Graham.
