With great sadness and heavy heart, the family of Maria Crocco announces her passing peacefully on September 28, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the age of 84.
She was born in Pisticci, Matera, Italy on October 23, 1933. Beloved wife to Ubaldo Crocco. Loving mother to Chiara (Frank Montalto). Proud Nonna to Francesco and Maria. Cherished sister to Carmela (Domenic Alfano), Graziella (Armando Borraccino), Franca (Nicola Vitelli) and Rocchina (Pietro Ottorino). May she be reunited in Heaven with her brother Antonio (Nina). Maria had a passion for camping and cooking. A special thank you to the staff of North Park Nursing Home for the tender care that they have provided to Maria for the past 9 years. She will be held dear in the hearts of her many family members and friends.
Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home on Monday October 1, from 2 – 4pm & from 6 – 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Fidelis Catholic Church (33 Connie St., Toronto) on Tuesday October 2, 2018, at 10am. Entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
