NATES, Jean (Eugenia) August 15, 1929 – April 02, 2019 It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Eugenia in her 90th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Christopher. Sadly missed by her adored children Christine Benvenuto (Ron), Helen Holton (Chip), Mary Muraco (Angelo) and George Nates. Proud grandmother of Vanessa (Rob), Brandon, Andrea (Dan), Andrew, Michael (Stephanie), Carolyn (Sean), Christopher and Nicholas (Heather). Cherished Yia Yia to Anthony, Valentina, Lily, Milo and Nico. Predeceased by her loving parents Costandina and Nicholas Sarikos and siblings Kosmas, Elizabeth, Mary and Anastasia. Devoted daughter- in-law of Kosmas and Eugenia Nates (both predeceased). Sister-in-law of Thelma and Nick Mouropoulos (both predeceased) and Rita Cirino (John, predeceased). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Anyone who has met our mother knew her as a kind, generous, loving woman with a wonderful sense of humour. Her grace and dignity will stay with us always. Her strength was recognized by all.
For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. A private family funeral service will take place with burial to follow.
