GASPIC, Adam It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Adam at St. Joseph’s Hospital on June 25, 2017 at the age of 88, born in Croatia on October 4, 1928. Beloved husband of the late Marija. Loving father of Steven and the late Marijan (Barbara). Cherished Deda of Adriana and Adam. Predeceased by his parents Mijo and Barbara and his brother Mijo. He will be sadly missed by cousins, relatives and friends in Canada, Croatia and United States. Adam was a retired employee of Dofasco. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital ICU and Abbington Court, his retirement residence, for their care. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. with Rosary at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Adam’s memory may be made to Holy Cross Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
