WILKINSON, Alan (February 17, 1936-October 6, 2017) With great sadness we announce the passing of Alan at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Much loved husband of Nora for 61 years, loving father of Joanne (Bernie), Richard (Linda) and Tony (Deb), cherished grandfather of Cheri (Russell), Melissa (David), Adam (Caitlin), Kayla, and Cassy, and dear great-grandfather of Kristyn, Maria and Mikayla. Alan enjoyed his time with the Canadian Armed Forces – Navy Branch, which allowed him to travel the world. Alan was a lifetime member of the Hamilton Naval Veterans’ Association. Alan will be very sadly missed by his extended family, many friends and former colleagues. A special thank you to the staff of the ICU at Juravinski Hospital for taking such good care of Alan. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Alan’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. If desired, a donation to the SPCA would be appreciated.
