ALFRED FRAEDRICH
August 27 , 1921 – November 7, 2016
Alfred passed away peacefully after a long illness on November 7, 2016, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth. He leaves behind two daughters, Bettina Campbell (David) of Ottawa, and Dette. Proud grandfather of Adam Campbell. He also leaves behind a sister, Alice Richter, in Germany. Alfred will be remembered by many for his long career as an Insurance Agent for Sun Life of Canada and as an enthusiastic world traveller. Alfred will be missed by his family, his friends, his colleagues, and his many neighbours in the Beach. A special thank you to the Quinn family – Michael, Karen, Katie, Allison and Melissa – for being such good friends and taking such good care of Alfred. Thanks to the wonderful and caring team at Michael Garron Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Alfred in the last days of his life. A memorial service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A. W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Davisville Avenue) on Saturday, November 19th at 1 o’clock. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. .
