PROUDLER, Ann (nee Turley) —
Passed away peacefully, aged 77, in the palliative care wing of Providence Healthcare, on Monday, April 17, 2017 with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gordon, her son John (Michele), daughter Monica (Dave) and brother David (Christine). Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Mary. She will be fondly remembered by her grandson Benjamin (Jessica) and the Turley side of the family in England, nephew David James (Nicky) and their children Dylan and Samuel, niece Maria (Gareth) and children Freddie and Annie. She will also be missed by Gordon’s brother in Toronto, Stuart and his sons Gerard (Hae-Young) and Sean. Condolences were also received from Gordon’s sister in Scotland and brothers Colin and Michael in England. Ann was fortunate to survive long enough to hold her great-granddaughter Freya, also named Anna after her great-grandma. Ann was a guiding light in many social activities in the Claridges’ condominium and will be sorely missed by her many friends there. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Thursday, April 20th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel’s Parish, 670 Sheppard Ave. E., on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital Foundation or Providence Healthcare.
