COWAN, Barbara Anne (Baker) With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara Anne Cowan (nee Baker), peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in her 78th year. Loving wife of Dave for 55 years. Dearly loved mother of Michael (Cathrine), Beth (Ken) Brown, and Paula (Lee) Keddie. Cherished grandma of Jackie (Graham) Long, Jonathan (Becky), Charlotte (Logan) McDermit, Shannon and Andrew Cowan, Philip (Brittany) Brown, Colin, Holly, and Hannah Brown, Joel, Chad, and Emilia Keddie. Great-grandma to Abigail, Maria, and Benjamin Long, Emma, Amelia and Adeline Cowan, and Luca Brown. Also lovingly remembered by siblings Janette (Earl) Stadder, Bea (late Bob) McQuillen, Tom (Susan) Baker, John Baker, Helen Green, and Bill (Debbie); sisters-in-law Jeanne (late Joe) Cowan, Thelma (Jack) Helm, and Faye Baker. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Special thanks to Dr. Blake for her exceptional care. A funeral service was held at the No. 6 RCAF Dunnville Museum on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1 p.m. Private burial took place at Riverside Cemetery, Wellandport.
