BEN MARKS Peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Humber River Hospital. Ben Marks, beloved father of Brad (Pauline) Marks, Ellise (Fred) Benitah and Stephen Marks. Cherished Zaidy of Josh, Max, Raquel, Brodie, Matthew, Cara, Samantha and Justin. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and devoted friends. An avid baseball and basketball player in his youth and sports fan in the years that followed, Ben was an integral part of the Toronto Lizzies Youth Organization in the 1940s that won numerous baseball and basketball championships. During his 40-year career in the auto-parts industry, he was very well known and liked amongst his customers and competitors alike. With spring training in our midst, it’s time to play baseball once again and there’s nothing he’d like more than to hear the umpire shout “play ball”. Services were held on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
