BLAIKIE, Blanche Helen – In loving memory of Blanche Helen Blaikie, 75 years, who passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 with her husband and daughter by her side. Her love, generosity and strong opinions will be missed by her husband of 49 years Alexander aka Scotty, her daughter Tammie and her fur babies Bosco and Blue; her sister-in-law Claudette; her nieces Kathy, Monique (Steve Duff) and Debbie; nephews Mark (Victoria) and Michael; great-nieces Maddison and Lauren; great-nephews Mitchell, Braeden, Jacob and Liam (deceased); aunt Wilma and cousins Lorraine and Wayne; best friend Millie and many cousins in Slovakia and Scotland. Predeceased by her parents John and Emilia Vrab, her sister Ann Dubé and brother-in-law Ray Dubé and brother Milan Vrab; in-laws Elizabeth and Jack Blaikie and Hislop relatives Nick, Peggy, Alec and Charlie. We are comforted to know that she is in God’s hands. Visitation at the PAUL O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. East (between pharmacy and Warden), on Friday, August 5th from 4 – 8 p.m. Funeral service in our chapel on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date.
