Peacefully at home on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Beloved mother of Richard and Stacey. Cherished Nana of Matthew. Treasured sister of Mary Read, Rita DeCaria (Frank), John Zahra (Linda), and Andie Zahra. Much loved aunt of Denver, Tracy, Jennifer, Anthony, Shondra and Deanna. Treasured great-aunt to seven nephews and nieces. Adored by her special nephew Jake. Carmen will forever be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend. ‘Carmen, you will forever remain in our hearts.’
Friends wishing to pay their respects may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass to be held at Transfiguration Of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Dr., Etobicoke, on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a private family burial.
