MEAD, Charles “Chuck” Leonard March 16, 1925 to August 20, 2017 Chuck Mead, founder of Mead Electric and resident of Aurora area since 1957, passed away quietly at the age of 92. Chuck was predeceased by his first wife Ella Kenyon, his second wife Marguerite Trueman and his daughter Brenda (Andre Leroux). Chuck will be deeply missed by his very close companion Alethea Rush. Chuck is survived by his brother John, his son Brian (Tracey), daughter Beverley (the late Jim Sarafin) and step-children Paul and Maybeth. Chuck had 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (at Yonge Street), Aurora, Ontario L4G 6W8, 905-727-5421. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Thompson Funeral Home.
