CIERI, Antonietta, “Pasqualina” (nee Paglicci) March 20, 1928 – July 18, 2016 Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side in her 89th year at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved wife of 65 years to Giacinto Cieri. Loving mother of Joanne (and the late Santo) LaBella and Alfonso (Margaret Oosterveld). Adored Nonna of Demetrio (Carla) LaBella, Francesca (Kevin) Monteiro and Isabella Cieri. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Victoria, Gianluca, Christian and Michael. Predeceased by her parents Alfonso and Grazietta Paglicci, and step-father Giuseppe Camilli, and parents-in-law Enrico and Domenica Cieri and step-mother-in-law Louisetta. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of the late Delfina (Fiore) Di Donato, Maria (Gabriele) D’Intino, Angelo (Giuseppina) Camilli, Domenico (Joan) Camilli, the late Donata (Antonio) Di Lorenzi, Antonietta (Nuzio) Fasciani, Antonio (Cesira) Cieri, the late Giovanni Cieri, Maria (the late Peppino) Barardi, Maria Franca (the late Alfredo) Barardi and Domenico (Giuseppina) Cieri. Antonietta also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Antonietta will be forever remembered for her generous and caring spirit, her amazing cooking and baking talents and her gracious hospitality with her family and friends. She will be forever missed and always loved. A special thank you to the team of doctors and nurses at the General Hospital ICU east unit. All of your efforts and support was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street) on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 830 Barton Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
