Immacolata CITINO
CITINO, Immacolata (nee Ricca) It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Immacolata, on August 23, 2016 at the age of 82. Loving mother to Joe (Trish) and grandmother to Baby Bridget who shares her Nonna’s birthday. Sister to Joseph Ricca (Anna) and the late Aramando (Esterina). Zia to Nino (Josie), Joey, Marco, Nino, Pasquale, and Maria. Great zia to Angelina, Arianna, and Alessandra. Friend to Christina, Marianna, Rosella and her best friend, Bobby who will miss her the most. Immacolata will also be missed by family and friends in Italy and various parts of Canada. Those fortunate enough to know Immacolata will truly miss her devoted friendship, kindness and unconditional love. From the day she emigrated from Italy, Immacolata spent a lifetime putting the needs and concerns of others before her own. This was never more evident than during the past six years, with failing health; her thoughts and prayers were always focused on the well-being of others. The world’s loss is heaven’s gain. You could not have been a better mom. Your memory is kept alive in Baby Bridget who now has a special guardian angel to watch over her. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
