Elizabeth CSANADY
CSANADY, Elizabeth Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2016 at the age of 96 at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. She was born on August 5, 1920 in the city of Beke in Hungary. She immigrated with her husband and daughter to Canada in 1956. After settling in Hamilton, Ontario, Elizabeth worked for many years at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a nurse. She loved spending time with her family, painting, cooking Hungarian dishes and crocheting. She is predeceased by her husband Andor Csanady and her daughter Maria Enyedy. Elizabeth is survived by her son-in-law Barna Enyedy, her granddaughter Susan Enyedy-Goldner (Robert), and her granddaughter Elizabeth Szustak (Wieslaw). She is affectionately remembered by her beloved great-grandchildren Justin, Patrick, Isabella and Marcus. A funeral will be held in her memory at St. Stephen’s of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, (130 Barton Street East) in Hamilton on January 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to final rest in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Road) in Burlington.
