SKEATES, David Charles It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dave Skeates in his 65th year on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Beloved husband of Elena (nee Nardini). Loving father to Laura and Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Josie Skeates, father-in-law Giovanni Nardini, and is survived by mother-in-law Eva Nardini. Will also be missed by his brothers-in-law Luigi Nardini and Larry Archer, extended family members, friends, and his furry companion Smokey. Dave has gone to be with his “one & only girlfriend” Judy. He will be missed by the many other “girlfriends” he left behind. Dave was an employee of Westinghouse in Hamilton for over 20 years, and has been a dedicated employee of A. Raymond Tinnerman for the past 23 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday March 10, 2017 from 1-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation in Dave’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Indwell would be appreciated.
