D’ANGELO, Donato (Danny) Passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017 after a short but ultimately futile battle with cancer at the Mackenzie Health Palliative Care Unit in Richmond Hill. Beloved husband of Grazia (DiPasquale), they would have celebrated their 64th year of marriage on September 27th. After arriving in Canada in the winter of 1955, Donato and Grazia built a quiet life together in Toronto, raising their son Frank in a warm and loving atmosphere punctuated with joy and a love of life which was a defining feature of Donato’s nature. In addition to his wife Grazia and son Frank, Donato leaves behind his daughter-in-law and confidant, Zahra and three wonderful grandsons Frank Michael, Matthew David and Kyan Anthony. The joy of his life in his later years was hearing about the accomplishments of the family he and his wife had created and especially the stories and video antics of his five great-grandchildren, Marcus, Lucan, Anthony, Jonathan and Bianca, who never ceased to entertain him, leaving him joyfully exhausted after every visit.
