DOUGLAS WALTER GEORGE Left us with broken hearts, peacefully, at his Toronto home, on 4 April 2016, aged 96. Precious father of Russel, Lloyd and Lindsay (Linda), sons with the late Thelma Mary Aldridge (Nee O’Keefe), he leaves to mourn his long-time friend, Sylvia; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Lee and Justine; his five great-grandchildren, his friends and colleagues. He was a small businessman and Kiwanis member. His passion was singing and performing music, especially from the big band era (Doug Aldridge and his Sentimental Swing).
