JAMES, Edward Ernest (Ernie) —
Ernie passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga after a brief illness with cancer at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn. Loving father of Lee Ann (Jim Sammut) and Jeff (Lynne). Proud Papa and Grandpa to his four “Grandboys” Austin, Matthew, Mitchell and Bradley. Ernie will be sadly missed by his many close friends and extended family. Family and friends will be received at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas) Oakville, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
