BUNTEN, Ekkehard “Ekki” —
Surrounded by his loving family, Ekki passed away on August 11, 2016 in his 82nd year at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Beloved husband of Zorka, proud father of Kevin (Lana Janes). He was predeceased by his daughter, Monika. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Ekki graduated in 1962 from the School of Architecture at the University of Toronto, and worked as an Architect for the Government of Ontario. A service to celebrate Ekki’s life will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road (east gate entrance) on Tuesday, August 16th at 11 a.m., with visitation beforehand at 10 a.m. Burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery will directly follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital, Al Hertz Centre for Palliative Care. uf
