DELORY, Elizabeth Marie (nee Clune) – July 8, 1930 – July 18, 2016 After battling heart problems and cancer for a number of years, Betty passed away at Bridgepoint Health. Betty was predeceased by her parents, James Francis Clune and Ella Mae Murphy and her brother William Clune. Betty is survived by her husband James DeLory and son Timothy. Family present and past were important to Betty and she often mentioned that she was the last survivor and the only female born into her generation of the Clune family. Betty will be missed by her brother-in-law and sister- in-law Sam and Marilyn Brown and also by many nieces, nephews and friends. Betty worked for the Canada Life Assurance Company for 18 years and for 20 years with the Ontario Government where she served in many interesting positions. Betty received excellent care from the staff in the palliative care units of St. Michael’s and Bridgepoint Health Hospitals during the last few months of her life. Family and friends will be received at HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, O’Connor Bros. Chapel, 50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000, on Wednesday, July 20th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, July 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at ST. BRIGID’S PARISH, 300 Wolverleigh Blvd., on Friday, July 22nd at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
