oberts, Elva “Elvie” (nee Somerville) – Passed away peacefully with family by her side after a short courageous battle with cancer on June 28, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Bob Roberts for 48 years. Loving and caring mother to Marty (Allison) Roberts, Robyn (Norman) Fazaa and Jamie (Tammy) Roberts. Loving and dear sister to Mary Ann Naidenoff and her late husband Ron. Cherished grandmother to Tyler, Greer, Maddison, Taryn, and Tristan. Elvie will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A service to celebrate Elvie’s beautiful life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Elvie Roberts.
