ERIC NIXON November 25, 1945 – July 28, 2016 It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our father, Eric Nixon on July 28, 2016 aged 70. Born in Wythenshawe to John and Janet (deceased). Husband to Lynne (deceased), Father to Suzanne (Jay), Heather (Michael) and Martyn and Grandad to Jade, Thomas and Kai. Eric was a Printer by trade who was lucky enough to travel the globe doing what he loved. Retired now for several years he spent time with his kids and grandkids, never missing a special event or celebration. He was the life of any gathering. Dad was called home peacefully, holding the hands of his children and surrounded by love. We will miss his sharp wit, his hard-earned wisdom and his unwavering love of his family. Visitation Wednesday, August 3rd from 7-9 p.m. Service Thursday, August 4th, 11 a.m. with reception to follow at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St., Markham, Ontario L3P 1Y3.
