AUSTIN, Ethel Gertrude (Anderson) After a long and happy life Ethel passed away at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville on Friday, March 31, 2017 in her 89th year. Loving wife and travelling companion of Ken for 70 wonderful years. Dear mother of Margaret (Jack) Ellis, Diana (Gerry) Duncan, Karen (Ralph) Winslow, Ken Austin, and Sherry (Todd) Culp. Cherished grandmother of Shelley (Chad), Jason, Jeff (Nancy), Scott (Christie), Jeremy (Candy), Jaime (Nikki), Rachel (Rich), Tanya (Tony), Tasha, Jennifer, Julia; and great-grandmother of 20. Also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and brothers-and-sisters-in-law and their families. Predeceased by baby son William Brian Austin, parents David and Annie Anderson, grandson Jody, and brothers Robert (Edith) Anderson, and William (Hazel) Anderson. Special thanks to Dr. Iain McMichen, the nurses, and PSWs for their excellent care. Friends will be received at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME , 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville on Tuesday, April 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Dunn Cemetery, Dunnville.
