Peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Vassa (Vasiliki), proud father of sons Dan (Kathy) and Lou (Mary). Devoted Dedo to Evan (Sarah), Tanya (Adam), Sandra (Kyle), Mike, Greg, Katie and Lauren; Stari Dedo to Brandon, Anna and Madeleine. Predeceased by brother Mike and sister Helen, and brothers-in-law Anastasios, Boris, Mike and Jim. Survived also by sister Evda Rombis (Mike), sister-in-law Menka Mallinos, brothers-in-law Gus Rappos, Angelo Kotsopoulos, Telly Kotsopoulos (Mary), sisters-in-law Evgenia, Frances, Jean and Gitsa Kotsopoulos; and many nieces, nephews cousins and friends in Canada, Australia, Greece, Macedonia and the Unites States. Evan and Vassa had been married for over 65 years. They came from Macedonia to Toronto in 1951. Once established they opened their home to many relatives who immigrated to this country. Together with Vassa, Evan built a small business that thrived with their hard work and determination. They helped raise their grandchildren with love and immense pride. Special thanks to nurse G. Alcantara, Dr. D. D’Sousa, and Dr. C. Mastrogiacomo. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 13, at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 76 Overlea Blvd., Toronto. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery.
