YLES, Gary “Leon” Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the age of 83 at Scarborough General Hospital. Leon was a devoted husband to Beverly for close to 59 years. Loving father to Paul, Pete (Diane) and Mark (Lisa). Adoring Gramps and Poppa to Tyler, Peter Jacob and Olivia, who will all miss him dearly. Leon had long and successful careers. First, with Empire Life as a Sales Manager and then as a Mediator with the Ministry of Labour. Leon was a lover of golf and a long-standing member of Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Leon volunteered for many years with Scouts and was a generous supporter of Community Living. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Community Living Toronto would be greatly appreciated.
