GENERAL, Ronald Peter Surrounded by love, at The Carpenter Hospice on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Lois (1998) and loving companion to Dixine Sullivan. Devoted father to Kathy (Scott) Tilbury, Karen (Bob) Lewis, Steve General, and Ron General Jr. Cherished poppa and grandpa to Brandon (Alicia) Lewis, Michelle (Alex) Szymanowski, and Rachel Lewis; Justin (Elena) Gilmour, Melissa Gilmour (Jay Virani); Kara Rennick, step-grandfather to Brandon and Graham Tilbury. Great-grandfather to Chelsea Gilmour. Thank you to the staff at The Carpenter Hospice for their exceptional care, and to Dr. Plach, Dr. Phillips, Ildy (N.P.) and all the staff at the Joseph Brant Hospital Cancer Clinic. He fought hard to stay, but lived up to his Native name, Tonaduckwa (Restless Spirit).
