LOWRY, George William (Bill) Age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on September 22, 2017. Husband of Betty Lowry (predeceased) for 68 years. Brother of Eleanor (Charles) Ryerson. Brother-in-law of Dorothy and Bill Forbes. Children Linda, Terry (Mark), and Dan (Donna); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews, and family friend Pat Patton. Bill retired from Westinghouse/CAMCO in 1988 after 38 years of service, and enjoyed many years at the family cottage in Selkirk. Family and friends are welcome to visit the M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton, on Friday, September 29th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
