CARDILLO, Giuseppina (nee Lumia) March 29, 1934 – April 3, 2017 Peacefully passed away at Juravinski Hospital with her loving family by her side on April 3, 2017 at the age of 83. Loving wife of her late husband Salvatore. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Rosa and Nick Mattina, Charlie and Valeria, Maria and Joe Colosimo, and Salvina and Joe DeMarchi. Adored Nonna of John and Paola, Maryanne and Kevin, Salvatore and Lindsey, Michael and Mary, Peter and Cindy, Ashley, Daniel, Josie and Justin, Benjamin, and Jessica. Cherished Great Nonna of Brendon, Nicaulas, Jacob, Anthony, Lyla, Marco, Charlie, Melania and Penelope. Loving daughter of the late Maria and the late Calogero Lumia. Predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Salvatore and Rosa (nee Licata). Sister and Sister-in-law of Anna and the late Salvatore Vella, Calogera and the late Orazio Cannizzaro, Stella and the late Diego Terrana, Giuseppina and the late Giuseppe Sardo Viscuglia, Nicoletta and the late Francesco Mattina and predeceased by Serafino (Pietra), Antonio (Rosa), Giuseppe (Carmela) and Alfonso (Maria). Giuseppina will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada, Italy and the USA. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
