HAZELMARIE (COLLINS) DORAZIO

HAZEL MARIE DORAZIO (nee COLLINS) The family is sad to announce the passing of Hazel, after a long and courageous battle with Dementia, in her 67th year. Hazel was born in West Hill and grew up in Oakville. Extremely athletic, she enjoyed bowling, golf and curling in her later years. A graduate of Oakville Trafalgar High School and McMaster University, she also held many industry certifications in commercial real estate. After a long and successful career, she partnered, with her husband, Nick, enjoying even greater success in commercial property consulting. Always so very generous with her time, she was active in the parish with the building committee, children’s liturgy, fun fairs, PTA, benefit dinners, silent auctions, etc. A longtime member of the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club, she sat on curling executives, ran a few bonspiels and served as a director of the Club. She will be sadly missed by her husband Nick and children Nick (Jen), Corrine and Colleen, grandson Michael, as well as, siblings: June, Bud, Valerie and Jinny. Many thanks to the staff at Sherwood Court. Friends may call at Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street, Wednesday and Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto.
