Passed into the loving arms of Jesus on January 6, 2017 at the Chartwell Brant Centre, Burlington, ON, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Frank Roden for 37 years. Loving mother of David Cochrane (Brada) and Stephen Cochrane (Chantal) and step-mother of Cherry Pond (Keith) and Caroline Parker (Reg). Proud grandmother of Bradley (Jenna), Michelle, Sarah, Christopher, Melanie, Nathan and Andrew. Retired Peel Board of Education Schoolteacher, who also specialized in ESL. Dedicated soldier of The Salvation Army for over 40 years. Longtime volunteer supporting both Red Shield Appeal (area coordinator) and Christmas Kettle programs, just to name a few.
Friends and family will be received at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Tuesday, January 10th at 10 with service to follow at 11 a.m.
