HEINZ FELIX FRITZ GUERLIN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heinz Felix Fritz Guerlin born November 25, 1917 in Berlin, Germany. Heinz passed away peacefully on September 18, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Erica Guerlin for 72 years, brother of the late Paul and Theo Guerlin, dearly loved father of Monika Guerlin and predeceased by his daughter Sabine Kapelos. Loving father- in-law of Nicholas Kapelos and Pat Paterson. Very special Opa to Andrea and Andrew Kolody, Tanya and Brent Webber, Vassy, Zoë and Tina Kapelos. Great- Opa to Jennifer, Sarah and Stephen Kolody. In his retirement, Heinz devoted a great deal of time to the German Congress as an active member writing plays and poems showcasing his love of Germany. He adored his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A celebration of Heinz’s life will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow, everyone is welcome.
