JONES, Helen Dolores
September 1st, 1933 – August 26th, 2016
We sadly announce that a very special woman passed away suddenly surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Neil Jones Sr. (July 15th, 2015) for 54 years. Cherished mother of Neil Jr., Joanne, Cheryl & Phil Scott, Ric & Cathy Gordon and their families. She will be greatly missed by Robert Hopcroft, Joey and Rick Jones, Cori and MacKenzie Chalmers. Helen will also be missed by many extended family and friends. The Jones family wishes to extend their appreciation to the caring staff at Paramed and the PSW’s for the compassion shown to Helen. Helen enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck at casinos, making crafts and travelling. She leaves us with so many happy memories and will be missed more than words can say. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 8th from 11:00 a.m. until time of a Celebration of Helen’s Life in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
