Peacefully, in the presence of her children, at Lakeridge Health Whitby on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Joseph Shaw. Loving and cherished Mom of Allan and Bernardine (Bernie) and her husband Patrick Rigo. She will be sadly missed by her granddog Scotia, her extended family and many friends. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Elizabeth Wilcox, her brothers Louis, Clement, John, Leo, Bill and Victor and her sister Doris. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, March 31st from 6 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from ST. MONICA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Middleton, Nova Scotia on Thursday, April 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston, Nova Scotia. Family flowers only please.
