Hermina BUWALDA (Bongers)
BUWALDA, Hermina (Bongers) Passed away peacefully January 23, 2017 at the age of 89. Now in the arms of Jesus which she longed for and reunited with loved ones that have passed. Predeceased by her husband, Louw and her six siblings. Survived by one sister and many nieces and nephews in The Netherlands. Lovingly remembered by her 5 children and 12 grandchildren, Marianne – Shannon Vanrooy; Joyce Needham (Bob) – Corey, Curtis, Christopher, Cara; Lawrence – Nathan, Zachary, Jacob; Dorothy Deshane (Steve) – Patrick (Elyn), Nickolas (Becca), Cole, Stephanie and special pet Sophie; Trish (Jim). An honourable mention to Dorothy for all she did for our mother over the years. She was her voice when she was no longer able to be that for herself. Also her long time friend Thea who spent quality time with our mother to the end. A Celebration of Life will be held at Smithville United Church on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. “The Lord is my Shepherd” … Psalm 23. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Smithville United Church, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
