JAMES “BARRY” READHEAD October 28, 1936 – July 30, 2016 It is with extreme sadness that Dee Anderson says goodbye to her best friend and partner for almost 40 years, Barry Readhead. Barry passed away peacefully Saturday, July 30, 2016 in his sleep at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. Lovingly survived by his partner Dee and his daughter Lori (Joel), Lori’s mom Betty, his grandchildren Ryan and Kaitlyn and his great-grandson Colby. He will be remembered by his buddy Peanut. Barry will be remembered by his cousins Cindy, Brenda, Lori Ann and Randy. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Donna (Peter) Schuller and Jenny Readhead and brother- in-law Harvey Anderson (Bev) (the late Shirley) and other family members. Predeceased by his parents Clarke (Jim) and May (Coulson) Readhead and by his brother Peter Readhead and in-laws Ruby and Joe Anderson. Barry was the Owner/Operator of a coffee truck (Majestic Food Service) in Scarborough for over 30 years. He was well liked and respected by many business associates, customers and friends. His sensitivity and strength will always be remembered and greatly missed. As per Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. Special thanks to his nephrologist, Dr. Alistair Ingram, to the Dialysis nurses at the Brantford General Hospital and to the staff at St. Joseph’s for the wonderful care and compassion Barry received at the end.
