James Richard “J.R.” MILLER
Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at Wesburn Manor, Toronto, on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Shirley. Loving father of Wendy (Kevin) McInerney and James (Maryann) Miller. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Nicole (Matthew), Deanna, and Stephen. J.R. a veteran of WWII, served proudly in the Canadian Air Force and Army. Known as “Mr. About Tires”, he held a successful career at Goodyear and Canadian Tire for over forty years. A special thanks to the caring staff of Wesburn Manor. In memory of Jim, please consider giving the “gift of life” and donating blood to Canadian Blood Services. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society Canada or The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
