EKINS, James Robert (Jim) —
Passed away peacefully on January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family in Huntsville, Ontario, at age 75. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lynne, son Jef and wife Jane, daughter Beth and husband Simon, and loving grandsons Callum, Owen, Rylan, and Cole. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 1 p.m., service at 2 p.m., followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, where Jim received outstanding care from a group of the most thoughtful and caring nurses, physicians, and others, would be appreciated (www.huntsvillehospitalfoundation.ca).
