JEAN E. SOMERVILLE Passed away peacefully at Cedarcroft Place in Stratford on Friday, April 7, 2017 in her 96th year. Jean joins her dear beloved husband Bill whom she lost in 2005. Devoted Mom to John (Shirley) and Karen (Alan) and loving Grandma to Paul (Michelle), Jeff (Julie), Amy (Adam) and Joseph and Great- Grandma to Chloe, Fletcher and Finnegan. Survived by her brother Keith (Barb) and predeceased by her sister Leita. Jean was born in London but grew up on the family farm near St. Marys. After marrying Bill, her partner in life, she lived in St. Marys and then Stratford. Jean was dedicated to her family, friends and her community. She was involved with the IODE, the church women, politics and other charitable causes. Special thanks to the staff of Cedarcroft Place for their expert and gentle care of Mom during her final years. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
