JEAN STEVENSON (nee LARMOUR) May 29, 1917 – May 19, 2017 Peacefully at her home in Port Perry, 10 days shy of her 100th birthday. Treasured wife of the late Bill Stevenson (2010) and beloved mother of Norma (Larry Bertuzzi), Jennifer (Bill Purkis) and Bill. Grandmother of Kelly, John (Kim), Shannon, Michael (Wendi) and Jennie; great-grandmother of 14 and great-great-grandmother of one. Also survived by sister Doris in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Predeceased by siblings Hugh, Billy, Meta, Norman, Norah and Phyllis. Jean was born in Belfast and raised her family in North Toronto. She and Bill retired to Port Perry in 1997. In recent years she has been tenderly watched over by her caregivers, primarily Edeliza, Colleen, Lisa, Gilda and Carla. Special thanks to them and to CCAC, St. Elizabeth’s, Community Care Durham and Cardinal Nannies. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held.
