MAGYAR, JOHN It is with deep sadness we announce John’s passing on July 4, 2017 at the age of 89. John was surrounded by family and will be profoundly missed by devoted wife of 60 years, Sally (Erna Bell) and adoring daughters and families, Shelli Filkin (Stephen, Myles, Jerome and Sarah) and Dana Brown (Paul, Cameron and Landon). Born in Regina to Dan, Flora and big brother Steve, “Johnnie” journeyed through life with cherished family, friends, business associates and Military comrades and Masonic brothers from Romania to Stoney Creek and so many places in between, sharing laughter, love and lessons. Masonic Service immediately followed by Celebration of Life on July 16, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at Port Credit Legion, 35 Front Street North.
