Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Annaleise Pamenter-Potvin and father of Philip John Potvin. Cherished boyfriend of Joanne Thorn. Loving brother of Sandra Brown (Paul). Loving uncle to Stuart, Wendy, Alexander, Valerie, Shelley and Laura. Friend and brother-in-law to Heather Wallace (Ian), and Judy Pamenter (David Cohen). John will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends whose lives he touched with his open heart and quick wit. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Service at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
