JOHN WILLIAM KNAPP After a long full life on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 died at 96 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife Laura (nee Flanagan). Loving father of the late Gloria (the late Domenic LaPenna), Victoria (Lawrie Donville), James (Irma Pappenheim) and Chris (Leslie). Beloved grandfather of 8 grandchildren and blessed with numerous great-grandchildren. Devoted brother to Theresa Ellis (the late Les). John was an active member of the St. Leo’s Showtimer’s Club, Toronto, Ontario and an active longtime community member in Goderich, Ontario. He will be in our hearts forever. Family and friends will be received at the Glendale Funeral Home (1810 Albion Road, corner of Albion Road and Highway No. 27, Etobicoke, ON) 416-679-1803, on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church (2547 Kipling Avenue, Toronto, Ontario). Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
