Passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the age of 92. Devoted husband of the late Balbina. Fiercely proud of both his Polish heritage and his Canadian citizenship, he worked for many years at Chrysler Canada in Brampton and spent his final years at Wawel Villa in Mississauga where he was the Bingo Master and chief songster. Loving father of Josephine Desveaux (Arthur) of Toronto and Bernie Kowalczyk (Stephen Haller) of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Karin Desveaux, Jason Desveaux, Jeffrey Haller and Jennifer Buchanan. Beloved great-grandfather of Mia Potters and Kady Buchanan. Also survived by his sister, Rose Pabian of Poland. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
