Karl KRENOS
KRENOS, Karl Born April 1929, died peacefully on January 12, 2017 in his 88th year, at St Joseph’s Hospital, Jurvanski Tower, Hamilton, Ontario of natural causes with family at his side. Son of Ivan and Maria. Predeceased by his son Adam. Will be lovingly missed by his wife Hermina, adoring grandson Cameron, by his brother (John) Janez, sister-in-law Maria, sister Emilia, his sons Bevan, Paul and Robert, daughter-in-law Heather, brother-in-law Alfred, nephews Mark and David, along with his many brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, dear friends and neighbors. Karl came to Canada in the 50’s, leaving his own tailor shop in Europe to be with his childhood sweetheart Hermina. After retirement, Karl took up his previous occupation as a hobby, working with many great people making suits and clothing. Easy to smile and with a sense of humor to the near end. Selfless and without a shred of pretension and overwhelming sense of fairness and responsibility. He loved his family and friends dearly and was especially proud and adoring of his grandson Cameron. He would not have wanted anyone to feel despair for his passing but to be thankful for the good in all of our lives, and do the best we can for those we love. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your preferred charity. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, Ancaster, 905-648-3852. Private Funeral Prayers and interment will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
