REYNEN, Lambert (Bert)

Bert was born in Gemert, Holland on February 13th, 1931 and passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017, at the age of 86. Survived by his beloved wife Thea (nee Lamers) of nearly 64 years. Wonderful father to his children Marty Reynen (Jacqueline), Betty Richards and Theresa Meadows (Barry). Very much loved Opa to serval grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers; Louis, Gordon, John and his sisters; twin Nellie and Theresa. Predeceased by his parents Laurentia and Martin Reynen, and siblings; Harry, Joe, Tony, Jo, Tillie and Bep. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, April 25th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Wednesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care would be appreciated.
